Canon vs Nikon

A question many face when considering upgrading cameras - i'm quite tempted to do this... my little point and shoot has served me well. But it's high time i explored the excitement of the DSLR world!

Canon? Nikon? Which do you prefer and why? I suppose it is a personal thing.

Will be visiting Singapore soon :D so i'll be bargain hunting.

Hi there! I just wanted to let you know I'm alive and kicking here in Spain! I've been really busy with my work and settling in, so no new pictures just yet. It's pretty astonishing how quickly time goes when you're in a new exciting place, but I'm sure things will settle down sometime soon.
