A question many face when considering upgrading cameras - i'm quite tempted to do this... my little point and shoot has served me well. But it's high time i explored the excitement of the DSLR world!

Canon? Nikon? Which do you prefer and why? I suppose it is a personal thing.

Will be visiting Singapore soon so i'll be bargain hunting.

I would have had no clue what that word meant had it not been for the movie a couple of years ago. It was a sweet movie - maybe forgettable but enjoyable nonetheless.

I have been blessed with a few serendipitous (?) moments over the past year.

Last night the largest cruise ships in the world the Queen Mary II & Queen Elizabeth II docked in Sydney harbour. The crowds were HUGE and it was like New Years eve all over again. It really surprised me how many people came out to see these ships until i saw them.
Seriously the ship was docked behind the botanical gardens. From the other side of the gardens i could see the top of the ship which actually was taller than the trees in the garden! It was crazy!

I was thinking about visiting after work alone to take a peek but after a long day and hungry i thought i would go home and just take a look the day after. Had a couple of minutes till my train so rushed on.

On the train bumped into a fellow churchgoer who i knew by face but never had a convo with. Anyhow we got talking and found out he was going to see the ships.. haha so i decided that fate was prompting me to go and see the ships too, which i did.

Turned out to be a fun night, mainly at the wonder of these huge cities on water and the fuss they were causing.
Sydney let off some fabulous fireworks which were beautiful.

Isn't it silly seeing some familiar faces week after week and not really having a conversation? It's really quite sad.

So serendipitous it was for a couple of reasons. Got to meet some nice people. And secondly i got really excited about seeing the ships... and now i've decided i'm going to go cruising on them in the future! WAHOO!

As commercial as this day might be sometimes, i'm glad this day is here. Not for the presents or flowers. But because it's a day that celebrates something worthwhile in everyone's life. It's something we should celebrate each day we're alive in some way or another.

For each person who has been a positive impact on me and my life thank you very much!

No no, i'm not a mum or expecting!
Today i really thought to myself how hard it would be to be a mum. Rewarding in many ways too of course..

Went to Opera in the domain after work today with some work mates. One is a single mum with a very feisty little girl. And boy~ after 11hrs at work i couldn't imagine how tiring it would be to work AND then have a little kid to look after. She was jumping all over everyone and causing a stir with 40, 000 other people in the park who wanted to relax. Being a mum isn't easy sometimes.

I took her for a walk to settle her down. Actually i carried her.. 20kgs worth of writhing kid, and i was sore in less than 15mins! hahahahaha Gotta give it to the mums out there. YOU'RE AMAZING! Esp. the single mums.

For now i'm kinda glad i don't have that extra responsibility and i see how much work goes into it all.

Must learn how to take care of kids before i actually have them!

hehe oh well~ I still want 'em one day
